I do not think that anybody could have envisaged the impact this coronavirus has had on football, or on any other sport worldwide. However, it has created various scenarios which we all have to deal with in very individual ways. 

My first message is to all our staff, players and all associated within the football club and the wider community has managed to be safe and well. As a club we are all thinking of you and your families. 

From day one our message within the football club has being simple we adhere to any guidelines put before us and we are proactive in working towards them allowing our players and parents to enjoy the emotions and excitement that competitive football brings. 

Our updated covid19 risk assessment for games is now available in the downloads section of our club website which is approved by the club’s insurers Bluefin Sports. 

We had envisaged a new website being launched on Friday, but a few technical hitches have meant that this has had to be delayed a week in order to fully maximize the new integrated club app. 

We will also be launching a new covid19 track and trace system across our teams ready for our first league fixtures this coming weekend. We will be meeting as a club committee to ensure the smooth launch of this new system to make sure we are fully covid compliant as a club. 

We now have a dedicated covid19 officer in place at the club in myself and I am available to discuss this should anyone have any concerns. 

The coming weeks and months ahead will give us an indication as to where the clubs first season will take us, the months of planning and working around lockdown have enabled us to get to this point.
