Toby Harris and Matt Whitehead have both decided to leave the club as they look to test themselves at a higher level.
Both have had a fine season and in the process attracted interest from a number of teams higher up in the pyramid. Both have enjoyed their time at Ilkley and although it was a tough decision they felt the timing was right.
On behalf of the club we would like to thank them for their effort, application and contribution in an Ilkley shirt and to wish them all the best for next season.
Manager Simon Armstrong had this to say;
'Toby and Matt have been incredibly honest throughout the season and I've been aware of interest since Christmas so there was always a possibility they could move on. They've both done incredibly well for the club over the past two seasons and its been a pleasure to watch them develop and improve to the point where semi professional clubs are taking an interest. I think its testament to the direction of the club and our team performances over the last two years that our players are attracting more and more interest from clubs higher up the pyramid. Obviously this club has a lot of ambition and we won't be standing still, looking to further improve our squad, facilities and infrastructure as we continue to look for ways to progress and develop on and off the pitch.'
