This Saturday Town return to Ben Rhydding for the visit of Knaresborough Town.

Similar to last season Knaresborough have endured a slow start, currently bottom of the table and still looking for their first win of the season, managing two points from their first five fixtures.

Town come into this game after a stunning opening thirty minutes away at Carlton Athletic. Manager Simon Armstrong had this to say;

'Taking nothing away from our terrific first half performance, Carlton were under strength and I've no doubt will improve and start moving up the table. It was a real positive to start with a high intensity, put pressure on the opposition and turn it into goals. It's an area we want to improve on and Saturday demonstrated we can achieve it. Knaresborough present a different challenge and we all know after Wyke at home last season that you can't take anything for granted at this level.'
