IRLAM STEEL RANGERS TIGERS & BENGALS

2026/27 SEASON UPDATE

We are delighted to confirm that Irlam Steel Rangers Tigers will be competing in both the Warrington Junior Football League (JFL) and the Warrington Girls Football League (GFL) during the 2026/27 season.

Saturday Football – Warrington JFL

Our Saturday programme will see the Tigers/Bengals compete against boys’ teams in the Warrington JFL (division to be confirmed).

This exciting opportunity will:

* Provide an additional platform for player development.

* Allow players to experience different styles of football and competition.

* Ensure the squad continues to be challenged at a high level.

* Give the team the opportunity to compete for a boys’ league title.

Sunday Football – Warrington GFL Premier Division

On Sundays, the Tigers will continue to compete in the Warrington GFL Premier Division, following an outstanding 2025/26 campaign.

Our aim is clear:

* Challenge once again for the Premier Division title.

* Build upon last season’s impressive Runners-Up finish.

* Continue raising standards and developing as one of the area’s leading girls’ football teams.

To ensure continuity throughout the season, we have secured Partington Sports Village for our winter training programme on:

Fridays Only

6:00pm – 7:00pm

Looking Ahead

The 2026/27 season promises to be our most ambitious yet, with players having the opportunity to compete across two leagues, gain valuable experience against a variety of opponents, and challenge for honours on both Saturdays and Sundays.
