As usual with Roma U11s, the lads came out and were half asleep. 2 unfortunate lucky goals in quick succession led to an early kick up the backside and the lads decided to start playing. Some good distribution from Stevie and the lads at the back led to a "calm as you like" finish from Daniel, in the bottom corner. A great delivery from Dylan led to a superb header at the back post from Daniel to go level at 2-2. Good footwork from Dylan led to a cooly slotted finish before a ball over the top from Foley put Caff through on goal for another relaxed finish. Another goal from Dylan before half time put the boys in full control as we headed to the break at 5-2.

An unusually quiet 2nd half with questionable offside calls before a mis-hit cross caught Noah off his line, he rose well to get a hand to it and, for calls of VAR, the decision was a goal, even if it didn't look like it crossed the line.
After some really strong work at the back for Riley an unfortunate handball decision allowed the opposition to get back into the game but that was quickly put to bed when Daniel got his 3rd of the morning ⚽⚽⚽

A feisty end to a well deserved win.
