Football was finally back for Roma U11s after the weather had dampened the weekends recently. A win here would really keep the pressure on at the top of the table.

An early chance for Gibbo sent just wide after bring played through nicely by Caff.... started from a great ball forward by Ryan from the back.

Gibbo darted into the box and was brought down for a pen. Callum stepped up and unfortunately put it just wide.

The referee deemed the ball was just out of play on the byline as Gibbo crossed for a tap in from Connor - goal not given.

First chance of the morning for JJ Bilbao as the attacker got clean through but Stevie was quick out to deny the striker.

A clever through ball from Dan allowed Caff to latch on and just wide of the goal.

Strong work from Ryan at the back and a great ball over the top to Gibbo who beat the keeper to the ball and slotted home with calmness- 1-0.

A rare JJ attack led to a powerful shot which Stevie saved but the ball trickled over the line. 1-1.

Dylan was clean through with the JJ defender closing, defender reaches the ball first and played it back to keeper who picked it up, pass back given and indirect free kick in the box which led to nothing after a good block from JJ.

A big chance for Dan as he was played through on goal but the JJ keeper saved well.

JJ broke and unleashed a good shot from the left which was met by a great save by Stevie.

Caff went just wide after a drop ball was given and played through by Dylan.

Half time 1-1.

Roma found themselves napping straight from kick off allowing a one on one very early in 2nd half - a Big save from Noah kept the game even.

Moments later and another good save from Noah which resulted in a goal kick.

A long throw from Dylan in the final third, headed on from the JJ defender straight to Ryan who buried it from close range.

2-1.

Gibbo again linked up well with great work from Caff down the right. His shot hitting the post.

Great work at the back between Foley and Connor to calm things down after some intense pressure on the JJ right.

Goal kick taken long by Foley straight through to Caff. The JJ keeper saved well one on one but the ball fell nicely to Callum who scored rebound.

3-1.

Chaos erupted and Callum was sent off with his celebration on the JJ line!

Free kick on the right side for JJ - and Maradona appeared from nowhere as the JJ forward tried to use his hand to score - no goal.

A late flurry from JJ found Roma asleep at the back, Noah saved well but JJ grab the rebound to bring a nervy last 5 minutes. 3-2.

JJ nearly grabbed another quite quickly but for a great sliding tackle in the box from Riley. Appeals from the JJ line for a penalty but it was a perfect challenge.

Roma all decided to push forward in the final minute which allowed JJ one final attack and a debatable offside goal given by the ref. 3-3.
