After a weather enforced break for the league all eyes were on Everton Park for Roma U9s mouthwatering match up with Vision PSG. The sun beamed down as the boys lined up for kick off. Vision attacked feriousciouly and relentlessly constant knocking on the door of goal keeper Sam. The attacks continued only to be stopped time and time again with Sam holding firm with a solid display. It was a superb pass from Harry to Kudzai that saw an early opportunity with the fox in the box succumbing to a great defensive tackle.
Mid first half it was a clumsy tackle that led to a free kick mid Vision half for Ryan to ponder and ponder he did with a sweet left footed strike that registered on RAF radar as an incoming missile as it belted the back of Visions net. 1-0. Captain Fantastic at it again.
Another bout of back and forth and it was again a rough tackle that saw Ryan step up again for a free kick mid Vision half. The cameras rolled, manager Andy Shields was holding his breath and Ryan with a Thor like strike sent a thunderous rocket into Visions net. 2-0. Stunner.
Attacks kept coming from both side and John playing sole defender repelled every ball coming through, his new nickname should be Dumbledore because he wouldn't let anyone pass. A right sided attack saw Joe play a superb pass through to Vision's box and narrowly miss the goal.
The second half began as the first half did with Roma growing in confidence, the introduction of Kaden further strengthened the midfield as he used all his strength to win the ball time and time again. There was a fantastic piece of play which saw a world class ball from Evan find Shea in the box for the killer goal to make it 3-0. Roma ultras were bouncing on the line, Head of Youth Development Darren finally stopped saying it's still 0-0. Uncatchable.
The game continued to be all about Roma with Tinashe coming on but a fantastic struck free kick from Vision was way too much for Sam and it became 3-1. Not quite happy about this Kaden took it upon himself to demolish Vision with strength not seen since the Hulk destroyed New York and a fantastic taken goal to make it 4-1. Deserved.
With the game closing out and Roma not leaving 2nd gear it was wonderkid Evan who ran through a sea of players with an inch perfect shot he beat the Vision keeper and celebrated his first league goal of the campaign. On fire.
Vision managed to secure a consolation from a corner to end the game 5-2 to Roma.
MoM - Evan.
