An early Saturday morning kick off against Sporting Club Merseyside Blues. The previous fixture seeing Roma U11s reach double figures.

An early goal from Callum after some good work and a cross from Connor on the left put Roma into the lead before Lucas went and made it 2-0 with his 1st of the day.

Some great play down the left wing, passed from Dylan to Connor to Lucas who’s shot was saved but he managed to react quickest for the rebound and making it 3-0.

Pinged about quite a bit in the box, great strike from Connor but saved by the keeper.

Alfie and Riley swept up loads of balls at the back with some great defending and decent play out from the back.

Loads of great build up play and plenty of chances and near misses as Roma continued to apply pressure to The Blues.

First proper chance for the opposition was saved by Stevie who then had some decent distribution kicks.

Lucas completed a first half hat trick when Dylan won the ball in midfield, Scotty passed to Lucas out right who scored with a great strike.

4-0 half time

Some well worked play by Lucas allowed a cross which made its way to Shay,putting the ball in the back of the net - 5-0.

The Blues brought the ball out but Riley won back posession on theright wing, ball then fell to Dylan well outside the box, he looked up and saw the keeper off his line, shot and scored. 6-0.

The Blues keeper was kept busy throughout the 2nd half with all strikers and midfielders having chances.

Lucas picked up the ball down the right wing, crossed to Ryan who was calling out for it and put the ball in the back of the net. 7-0.

A couple of chances for The Blues which were well parried away by Noah.

Another showing of good play by Lucas down the right wing, cut inside unleashing a powerful shot which was parried away by keeper, right into the path of Callum who scored with the rebound. 8-0.

A free kick on the left edge of the Roma box. Their captain stepped up and scored. 8-1.

A forurth goal of the morning for Lucas who went flying down the right wing, cut inside, took the ball around the keeper and into the back of the net. 9-1.

Another goal for their captain from free kick on left wing, carbon copy of his first. 9-2.

Another free kick for the opposition, same side, this time Noah parried away well to prevent another.

Bobby put a great through ball in that reached the box which Stevie almost got on the end of. The sweeper keeper always seems to get a chance when playing out!

Callum scored a late goal after a cross from Lucas but it was ruled offside as the game came to an end.

Noah picked up Romas first white card of the seasonfor fair play after the game from the ref for good sportsmanship - well done Noah!
