The day cannot be overruled by nastiness, the day belongs to Joe Furlong. With an attack coming down the line he threw himself into a block within the first 2 minutes and set himself up for a fantastic game.
To top off the day he latched onto a lovely piece of play to take the ball around the keeper and off balance managed to slot the ball into the net, his trademark celebratory slide on the floor lapped up by the Roma faithful.
Today was largely one to forget but Joe's display will live long into the memory of us all.
